The UAE has declared 2024 as its most successful year in terms of economic and developmental progress since the nation’s founding. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, shared this milestone during the first UAE Cabinet meeting of the year.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Sheikh Mohammed wrote, “It was the best economic and developmental year for the UAE since its establishment.” He attributed this success to the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, under whom the UAE further solidified its global standing.

Sheikh Mohammed also highlighted the country’s achievements on the international stage, noting that the UAE signed over 140 agreements in key areas such as the economy, sustainability, clean energy, technology, artificial intelligence, security, and defence. The agreements also extended to international humanitarian efforts, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to global cooperation.

The Cabinet meeting reviewed these accomplishments, emphasizing the UAE’s growing prominence worldwide and its ongoing focus on innovation, sustainability, and economic strength.
