Dubai International Airport is preparing for the peak summer travel season, expecting to exceed 3.4 million passengers between June 27 and July 9, 2025.

According to Dubai Airports, the average number of daily travelers during this period is anticipated to be over 265 000, with July 5 projected to be the busiest day for departures and transit passengers.
In preparation for this busy season, Dubai Airports has activated a comprehensive plan in collaboration with its strategic partners to ensure smooth travel and maintain the safety of all passengers. Despite ongoing regional conditions leading to some flight delays and cancellations, Dubai Airports is working around the clock to support travelers and provide necessary assistance as needed while maintaining service continuity. This effort is bolstered by a real-time monitoring and forecasting system that enhances the efficiency of human resources and operational infrastructure.
Dubai Airports is also closely monitoring developments in coordination with relevant authorities and airline partners, prioritizing the safety of all guests and staff at all times.
To ensure a smoother travel experience in the coming days, Dubai Airports has provided several tips for travelers. These include arriving at the airport more than three hours before flight departure, allowing children over 12 years old to use smart gates for expedited passport control, utilizing online check-in services, and taking advantage of self-service kiosks and luggage drop-off at Terminal 3.
Additionally, the DUBZ service offers the convenience of completing check-in and luggage collection from home or hotel, facilitating an easy travel process for passengers. The organization emphasizes the importance of staying updated on flight statuses and departure gates using the DXB Express maps, a guidance platform that allows easy navigation through the airport by scanning a QR code.
