H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, met with Mexican Minister of Economy Marcelo Luis Ebrard. During this meeting, the two countries signed several economic and investment cooperation agreements.

Among the agreements was the formation of a UAE-Mexican Joint Business Council. This council was established through a signing between the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology. Additionally, a deal focusing on investment cooperation was signed between the UAE Ministry of Investment and the Mexican Ministry of Economy.
Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the strong relations between the UAE and Mexico. He expressed a commitment to building an economic partnership that supports both nations’ shared interests and contributes to comprehensive development and sustainable economic prosperity.
The Emirati official also engaged with his Mexican counterpart, Juan Ramón de la Fuente, where they discussed current regional and international developments, as well as strategies to maintain international peace and security.
