KATIM and Nokia Join Forces to Enhance UAE’s Secure Telecommunications

Nokia, a world leader in business-to-business technology, has teamed up with KATIM, an EDGE company known for its creative secure communication solutions, to make the UAE’s secure phone networks even better. The main goal of this partnership is to create important solutions, such as Military 5G, that will make military communications and national security infrastructure better.

Hadier Pagnoux, CEO of KATIM, and Mohamed Samir, Vice President of Middle East Mobile Networks at Nokia, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The International Defense Exhibition & Conference (IDEX), which is running at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) until February 21, is where the deal was signed.

This MoU says that both businesses will work together to build safe phone networks that meet high safety and dependability standards for important military and mission-critical uses in the UAE. The goal of this partnership is to meet the changing security needs in the tactical network sector by combining KATIM’s experience in ultra-secure communications with Nokia’s technological leadership.

Didier Pagnoux stressed how important this partnership is, saying that it brings together their knowledge of ultra-secure communications to meet the needs of security in the mobile network sector. Mohamed Samir also said that the partnership lets both companies use their skills to build safe networks that improve operational efficiency and national security.
