UAE Government Announces Eid al-Fitr Holiday Dates

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources in the United Arab Emirates announced that the Eid al-Fitr holiday for federal government employees will begin from the 1st to the 3rd of Shawwal 1446 AH. This period corresponds to specific dates on the Gregorian calendar, with regular work resuming on the 4th of Shawwal.

The announcement, made on Monday, is in line with a circular issued by the Authority, which is based on Cabinet Decision No. 27 of 2024 regarding official holidays in the country. If Ramadan lasts for 30 days, the 30th day of Ramadan will be an additional official holiday added to the previously mentioned Eid al-Fitr break.

On this occasion, the Authority extended its congratulations to the UAE government, the people of the UAE, and residents, as well as to the Arab and Islamic nations. They expressed their hopes that this festive time would bring good health and wellness to everyone.
