As reported by Khaleej Times, to issue or renew an Emirates ID, citizens need to visit the Tamm website or mobile app. Under the “identity and citizenship” section, users should select either the issuance or renewal service for the Emirates ID. After signing in using their UAE Pass, applicants must provide personal details, submit required documents, such as a recent photograph and fingerprints, and pay the necessary fees. The ID will be delivered to their specified address within five working days.

The fees for Emirates ID issuance or renewal are Dh100 for a five-year card and Dh200 for a ten-year card, with an additional digital service fee of Dh50 for new cards and Dh40 for renewals.

For passports, the process is just as straightforward. Applicants can use the same Tamm platform to select the “issue or renew citizen passports” service. After logging in with their UAE Pass, users must fill out their details, upload a photo, and pay the required fees. The passport will be delivered within two working days.

Authorities emphasize the importance of completing all requirements promptly and providing any additional information requested during the application to avoid cancellation of the request.

This streamlined service aims to make it easier for UAE citizens to manage these vital documents from the comfort of their homes.
