Middle East Energy (MEE) 2025 is set to open tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), marking the largest and most ambitious edition in the event’s 49-year history. The exhibition, held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, will run until April 9. This year’s event will also feature the debut of The Battery Show Middle East.

The exhibition is expected to attract over 40 000 global energy professionals, including more than 500 key buyers. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore innovations from 1 600 exhibitors representing over 90 countries. The venue will be filled with sixteen halls and 17 international pavilions showcasing solutions across the entire energy value chain, including power generation, storage, clean mobility, and smart grid technologies.
Mark Ring, Group Director of Energy Events at Informa Markets, which organizes Middle East Energy, stated that this edition is designed to reflect the dynamism and ambition of the region’s energy ecosystem. He emphasized that the event combines market-leading innovation with unrivaled networking opportunities and the launch of The Battery Show Middle East, aiming to redefine the future of energy.
A key highlight of Middle East Energy 2025 is the introduction of The Battery Show Middle East, which is recognized as one of the leading platforms for battery technology and electric mobility globally. This exhibition will occupy an entire hall and host over 200 exhibitors. Additionally, it will feature the inaugural Battery Show Conference, which will tackle crucial topics such as energy storage, electric vehicle infrastructure, supply chain challenges, and smart grid integration. The Middle East and Africa battery market is projected to reach US $9.98 billion by 2029, driven by significant policy shifts, the integration of renewable energy, and increasing regional demand for electrification.
In addition to the Battery Show Conference, Middle East Energy will host more than 150 thought leaders across five additional conferences, including the Middle East Energy Leadership Summit, Technical Seminar powered by IEEE, Intersolar & ees Middle East Conference, Global Innovation Forum, and the Africa Business Leaders Forum. Ring noted that the comprehensive agenda aims to empower stakeholders to navigate the rapidly changing energy landscape, encouraging critical discussions and connections among industry and academic experts.
With its unprecedented scale and forward-thinking agenda, Middle East Energy 2025 is poised to be a pivotal moment for the global energy sector. Over the next three days, Dubai will serve as the epicenter of energy innovation in the region, as the Middle East and Africa move towards a more sustainable and interconnected future.
