Air India Launches Major Airfare Sale for Summer 2025, UAE-India Flights Starting at Dh717

Air India, the national carrier of India, has announced a significant network-wide sale, drastically reducing airfares for both domestic and international routes. This promotion is particularly appealing for Indian expatriates residing in the UAE and Indian travellers planning visits to the UAE. The sale, which was revealed on Friday, offers round-trip fares between the UAE and India starting as low as Dh717, while airfares from the UAE to India have been reduced to Dh797.17.

During this promotional event, one-way fares on domestic routes are available from Dh51.6, and round-trip fares on international routes start from Dh515.55. The sale will remain open until 11:59 PM on May 25, 2025. Notably, the last 24 hours of the sale will be exclusively available through Air India’s website and mobile app.

Travellers who book their tickets via Air India’s official website, airindia.com, or its mobile app will benefit from zero convenience fees during this sale period. Additionally, they can save up to Dh129.2 per person by using the promo code FLYAI. Special discounts on ancillary services are also offered when booked through direct online channels. These include up to 40% off on prepaid baggage for non-stop flights and up to 20% off on seat selection.

Moreover, HSBC credit cardholders can access further savings, with discounts up to Dh344.5 on round-trip bookings, depending on their travel class. Economy class travellers can save Dh107.6, while Premium Economy passengers can enjoy an additional discount of Dh172.3. Business and First Class passengers will benefit from discounts of Dh344.

According to a report from the Economic Times, Air India plans to expand its global presence significantly through more than 10 new codeshare agreements in this fiscal year, focusing on North America, Europe, and Africa. These partnerships are essential for enhancing connectivity and increasing feeder traffic, which aligns with the airline’s target of achieving a 25% annual growth in its international business.
