The proposed joint venture would be 51% owned by AD Ports Group and 49% by Advario. It promises to unlock significant growth opportunities in clean energy alternatives and bulk chemicals storage, capitalizing on the complementary strengths and market access of both partners. AD Ports Group plans to collaborate with Advario’s UAE partner, Star Energy, to advance this initiative.

If successfully created, the joint venture would see Advario constructing bulk storage tanks at Khalifa Port, along with the necessary pipeline infrastructure to service clients within KEZAD, the largest integrated industrial zone in the Middle East. This partnership is expected to enhance AD Ports Group’s existing liquid bulk capabilities and serve as a foundation for future investments in clean energy infrastructure, including hydrogen carriers such as ammonia and methanol.

The joint venture will not only focus on liquid bulk storage but also target clean energy carriers and critical infrastructure assets such as pipelines and integrated storage solutions. This initiative supports AD Ports Group’s broader strategy to position Abu Dhabi as a key player in the global energy transition.
