The General Department of Criminal Investigation (CID) at Dubai Police has signed a series of strategic Memoranda of Understanding during the World Police Summit 2025. These agreements highlight Dubai Police’s dedication to enhancing collaboration in technical innovation, community awareness, and security partnerships.

According to WAM, the MoUs were established with various partners from both the public and private sectors. Notable agreements include a partnership with Mastercard to promote security awareness and public education concerning economic crimes. Additionally, an agreement was signed with VITRONIC to advance technology and security systems.
Other key partnerships include collaboration with Dubai’s Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) focusing on virtual asset security and regulation, and an agreement with Dubai Healthcare aimed at raising digital awareness in the healthcare sector. Furthermore, the Prince and Princess of Wales Royal Foundation will address wildlife trafficking and financial crimes associated with the illegal wildlife trade.
MVP Technologies has also joined forces with Dubai Police to provide technical solutions that support law enforcement innovation. Additionally, the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation will conduct workshops and public awareness campaigns, while the British University in Dubai (BUiD) will focus on training and public awareness initiatives.
These agreements illustrate Dubai Police’s ongoing commitment to building strong partnerships that enhance security services, promote digital awareness, and strengthen crime prevention strategies. The initiative embodies the vision of Dubai Police to foster a proactive and collaborative security model, integrating efforts from government, academia, and the private sector to develop innovative and effective policing solutions.
