China-based Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipe Company has signed four contracts valued at a total of $47 million for significant projects in Kuwait, Iraq, Tunisia, and Jordan. This announcement was made through a company statement, highlighting the firm’s growing presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Waleid Gamal El-Dein, the Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), attended the signing ceremony and noted that these projects support industry localization and enhance Egyptian exports abroad.
With these latest contracts, Xinxing’s total signed agreements in Egypt has reached five, accumulating a total investment cost of $86 million. This figure includes a previous contract worth $39 million signed on May 13th for a project in Saudi Arabia.
The first of the four new contracts involves a partnership with Quality Technical Supplies Co.W.L.L for the PAHW project in Kuwait. This initiative has a production capacity of 7 800 tons of ductile pipes and carries a value of $8.5 million.
In Iraq, Xinxing has signed a deal with Wealth and Prosperity International for a water station project in Baghdad, which is estimated at $20 million.
The third contract, valued at $6.5 million, was established with Lemex International AG for the SONEDE project in Tunisia, featuring a production capacity of up to 6 000 tons of ductile pipes.
Lastly, Jordan-based Victoria Trading & Projects Company has finalized a contract worth $12 million for a project in the Bani Kinanah district of Irbid, which has a production capacity of 1 100 tons.
