A housing package valued at over AED 2 billion has been approved to benefit Emiratis in Dubai. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who serves as the Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, authorized the development of more than 1 100 residential units.

The new housing projects will be located in four significant areas: Wadi Al-Amardi, Al Aweer, Hatta, and Oud Al Muteena. Sheikh Hamdan visited the Wadi Al-Amardi housing project on Wednesday, where he received an update on the progress of various ongoing housing developments aimed at supporting citizens.
Sheikh Hamdan highlighted that the new projects will incorporate modern designs tailored to meet the needs of Emirati families. He emphasized the creation of well-planned communities equipped with advanced infrastructure, services, and comprehensive public facilities. He also commended the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment team for their dedication to delivering projects that enhance the well-being and stability of citizens, reiterating that this remains a top government priority.
Currently, a total of 1,163 housing units are under construction across several areas of the emirate. This includes 432 units in Wadi Al-Amardi, valued at AED 767.9 million, 398 units in Al Aweer at AED 734.1 million, 213 units in Hatta costing AED 508.5 million, and 120 units in Oud Al Muteena valued at AED 113.8 million.
