Dubai Startup Launches AI-Powered Cloud Gaming Platform

Dubai-based startup The Game Company (TGC) has unveiled its AI-powered cloud gaming platform during Dubai AI Week, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and hosted by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF). This innovative platform aligns with the Dubai Program for Gaming 2033, a national strategy aimed at establishing the emirate as a global leader in gaming and emerging technologies.

The new platform offers more than 1 300 AAA titles directly from the cloud, making high-performance gaming available to users on any device without the need for expensive consoles or lengthy downloads. The platform is built on a custom AI architecture that optimizes GPU usage for superior visual performance, incorporates predictive forward buffering for smooth gameplay, and provides cloud-agnostic integration for a seamless, low-latency experience across devices.

As reported by ZAWYA, Faisal Kazim, Head of the Dubai Program for Gaming 2033, emphasized the significance of the platform’s launch, stating that it showcases the transformative power of AI in various industries and highlights Dubai’s commitment to innovation. He noted, “The launch of TGC’s cloud gaming platform highlights the power of AI to transform industries, augment human creativity, and unlock new creative economies.”

Osman Masud, Founder and CEO of The Game Company, remarked that gaming transcends mere entertainment, influencing culture, economy, and infrastructure. He expressed pride in launching such a product from Dubai, declaring that it sets a new global benchmark for gaming. TGC’s platform has already gained traction, with over 43 000 registrations and 10 000 gamers onboarded during its alpha phase. The startup is supported by key partners, including Tencent Cloud, BytePlus (TikTok), Immutable, and Fetch.ai.
