His Excellency Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, the Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, hosted His Excellency Dr Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, the Head of the Sharjah Judicial Department, along with his delegation. The purpose of their meeting was to explore ways to enhance cooperation and share knowledge in judicial development, emphasizing the role of digital technologies and innovation.

The meeting included key figures such as His Excellency Counsellor Ali Mohammed Al Blooshi, Attorney General of Abu Dhabi, and His Excellency Counsellor Anwar Amin Al Harmoudi, Attorney General of Sharjah. Also present was His Excellency Counsellor Ahmed Abdullah Al Mulla, President of the Court of Cassation in Sharjah, along with other judicial leaders. HE Al Abri highlighted that the visit aimed to activate collaboration with the Sharjah Judicial Department and to seek opportunities for expanding partnerships across various sectors.
This initiative is in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department. It aims to enhance integration among the nation’s judicial institutions and to improve the UAE’s global standing in the legal arena. Al Abri underscored the department’s commitment to establishing strategic alliances, sharing innovative practices, and utilizing cutting-edge technologies to support development across its sectors.
During the delegation’s visit, they received an overview of the case management system used at the Abu Dhabi Commercial Court, along with the range of efficient services it provides. They were also briefed on the judicial ecosystem and the legal services offered by the department. The delegation explored the department’s 2024–2026 Strategic Plan, which includes key goals and ongoing projects that utilize modern technologies and artificial intelligence to improve judicial service quality and efficiency.
The visit concluded with a tour of the department’s headquarters, where the delegation learned about the services provided by the Central Library. This library features a comprehensive collection of legal texts, publications, and encyclopedias, serving as an invaluable resource for legal professionals, trainee judges, legal researchers, and practicing lawyers.
