The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has signed an agreement with Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City to enhance healthcare access for its staff. This partnership aims to provide personalized healthcare services, including expedited appointments and priority access to medical specialists.

Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi, the under-secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasized the importance of quality healthcare for diplomats and ministry personnel. He noted, “We recognise that access to quality healthcare is essential for our diplomats and ministry personnel who dedicate themselves to serving our nation.”
As part of the initiative, which aligns with the UAE’s Year of Community 2025, the program reflects the leadership’s vision of shared responsibility and collective well-being. The collaboration also focuses on continuous health education through regular workshops and awareness campaigns to promote proactive and preventive health practices.
