The RoboTaxi vehicles are designed to provide a smart and seamless transportation experience tailored to the demands of modern urban environments. Equipped with advanced electric design and artificial intelligence systems, these vehicles promise precise and consistent driving while responding in real-time to their surroundings. Their fully electric operation not only enhances road safety by minimizing human-related driving errors but also positions them as a more sustainable alternative, contributing to reduced emissions and alleviating traffic congestion.

Operational trials for the RoboTaxi service are being conducted in collaboration with Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre (ITC). This partnership ensures that the service aligns with local transportation strategies, regulatory frameworks, and infrastructure requirements, as part of the emirate’s broader initiative to enhance smart mobility. Sean Teo, Managing Director of Kintsugi Holding, emphasized that the trials signify the start of a significant transformation in urban mobility, highlighting the dual objectives of improving road safety and promoting sustainable transportation.

Autogo and Apollo Go will also engage in testing the performance of RoboTaxis in real-world settings and interacting with the public to facilitate the broader deployment of this innovative technology across Abu Dhabi by 2026. Apollo Go, known as Luobo Kuaipao, boasts over 150 million kilometers of autonomous driving with a notable safety record, having fulfilled over 10 million autonomous ride orders by March 2025.
