World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit to be Held in Abu Dhabi on April 8-9

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced the launch of the ‘World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit’ 2025, which will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) on April 8-9. This event is expected to feature the largest international participation in the summit’s history, reflecting a significant step toward enhancing global cooperation in crisis management.

The summit aims to provide innovative solutions to address pressing global challenges while fostering discussions and workshops that bring together thought leaders and decision-makers from various sectors. Alongside the main summit, there will be two co-located exhibitions: the ‘Crisis Management Technologies Exhibition’, showcasing the latest technological advancements in emergency management, and the ‘Generation Readiness Exhibition’, which focuses on raising community awareness about disaster preparedness as part of national efforts to improve readiness for future challenges.

Mariam Yaed Al Qubaisi, the Official Spokesperson and Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, highlighted the UAE’s leadership role in developing a comprehensive global response system based on innovation and international partnerships. She stated that this edition of the summit will concentrate on building global resilience by leveraging modern technology, enhancing strategic planning, and developing proactive strategies to address crises. Key topics will include strategic emergency planning and the significance of international collaboration for rapid responses to emergencies.

The summit will attract a diverse range of participants, including ministers, government officials, crisis management experts, and representatives from academia and the private sector. The event will also feature workshops, panel discussions, and the signing of cooperation agreements to facilitate knowledge exchange and develop integrated global crisis management policies.
