The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that registration for the new version of the scholarship program will be open from May 1 to June 1, 2025. This program aims to send outstanding UAE students to pursue their studies at 60 prestigious global universities.

The scholarship offers more than five leading diplomatic specializations, contributing to the promotion of a culture of innovation and excellence in diplomacy. To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet several criteria.
Applicants must be citizens of the United Arab Emirates and hold an Emirati passport along with a family book. They need to have a clean record, verified by a certificate from the relevant authorities. The age of the applicant should be between 17 and 22 years. Additionally, students must have achieved at least 80% in their high school diploma for advanced and elite tracks, and 90% for general, technical, and other curricula.
Moreover, applicants are required to have an English language proficiency certificate, such as a score of 6.5 in Academic IELTS or an equivalent TOEFL score, along with an acceptance letter from an accredited university recognized by the ministry. Furthermore, students must agree to work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the diplomatic corps for a period equal to their years of study.

The scholarship program involves three main stages. First, recipients will study abroad to earn a bachelor’s degree. Next, they will attend the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy to obtain a specialized postgraduate diploma in diplomacy and international relations. Finally, upon fulfilling graduation requirements, they will be appointed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and join the diplomatic corps.
