The wholly-owned subsidiary of NMDC Group will not only be responsible for the design and construction of these pipelines but will also handle the installation and dredging operations, which will involve moving six million cubic meters of material. NMDC Energy, which is listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, announced these developments in a statement on Thursday.

In collaboration with NMDC Dredging & Marin, NMDC Energy will also carry out onshore engineering and dredging work as part of the second-phase renewal project for the Tung-Hsiao Power Plant. The company has a strong track record, having completed over 1,200 projects and currently holding a backlog of AED54 billion as of June 2024.

Looking ahead, NMDC Energy aims to expand its operations into new markets, including Africa, India, and Southeast Asia, through strategic acquisitions.
