In Helsinki, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Finland’s Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen to discuss ways to enhance the relationship between the two nations.

Both leaders focused on strengthening cooperation in key areas aligned with their developmental goals. They emphasized the progress in UAE-Finland relations over the last five decades and expressed a commitment to further advancing the partnership to benefit their citizens.
The meeting also included discussions on global and regional developments, with both sides sharing views on pressing international issues.
Attending the meeting were several UAE officials, including Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Amina Mahmoud Fikri, UAE Ambassador to Finland, among others.
The talks underline the ongoing efforts to foster stronger bilateral ties and collaboration across multiple fields.
