Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) in Jordan has been awarded the title of “Most Enjoyable Airport in the Middle East” for the second time, signifying its dedication to providing an exceptional travel experience. This recognition was granted by the Airports Council International (ACI) based on the findings of the 2024 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey conducted by the Airport International Group (AIG).

The ASQ program is an international initiative that assesses and evaluates passengers’ experiences at airports. According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, this accolade highlights QAIA’s excellence in areas such as shopping, dining, entertainment, and efficient wait times. In addition to receiving this prestigious award, QAIA has also renewed its Level 3 Customer Experience Accreditation from ACI, which is valid until February 2026, underscoring its commitment to international best practices and industry standards.
To enhance the travel experience continuously, QAIA has adopted an advanced customer experience strategy that includes innovative initiatives across seven of the eight key areas of the ASQ program. These areas encompass customer understanding, strategy, measurement, process improvement, governance, airport culture, and service design/innovation. AIG CEO Nicolas Deviller stated that these achievements reflect QAIA’s ongoing efforts to create a welcoming atmosphere for travelers. He noted that since the passenger terminal opened 12 years ago, QAIA has continually adapted to meet evolving passenger needs, ensuring that it remains a comfortable and enjoyable environment for all who visit.
