This initiative aims to improve the overall transportation experience while facilitating smoother travel. All public transport buses have been equipped with smart payment devices, and the service is currently active on internal routes, with plans to extend it to external routes soon.

Additionally, the ATA has developed the Masar Travel smart app, which provides features for passengers to plan their trips, track bus locations in real time, link their bank cards, and view their trip history. This app is part of the broader effort to enhance public transport and support the emirate’s digital transformation.

The new system includes an advanced fare calculation feature based on zones and stops, offering complete monitoring of all transactions. It also generates performance reports, including revenue and financial reports, while providing a driver scheduling feature to ensure efficient workflow.

Furthermore, a ticket inspection system has been integrated for monitoring and quality control, and features for bus pick-up and drop-off have been established to ensure safe operations. The system allows multiple login options for users, enhancing convenience, and enables revenue distribution among different transportation services, such as public buses and on-demand buses.
