According to presidential spokesman Ahmed Fahmy, the new budget will also provide sufficient resources to finance a recently announced social protection package. A greater portion of the budget will be dedicated to human development programs, which include various presidential initiatives aimed at building the capacity of the Egyptian people.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency, indicated that the meeting also focused on national efforts to maintain financial discipline, increase the primary surplus, and reduce public debt. This comes as Egypt approaches the completion of a medium-term public debt reduction strategy. The President urged officials to intensify their efforts to control inflation and improve productivity to achieve higher economic growth rates.

In his remarks, Al-Sisi emphasized the importance of reinforcing financial discipline through effective government measures, aimed at enhancing the performance of the Egyptian economy and supporting national development initiatives.
