Etihad Airways has announced the introduction of Airbus A380 aircraft on the Abu Dhabi–Toronto route, starting from 24 June 2025. This strategic initiative is designed to cater to the growing demand for travel between the two cities, thereby enhancing the overall passenger flying experience.

The deployment of the A380 will provide a range of premium services across all cabin classes. In Economy Class, passengers will enjoy comfortable seating with dedicated amenities. Business Class will feature private suites aimed at ensuring a restful journey, while First Class will offer luxurious private suites with exclusive services. The Residence, a unique three-room suite in the sky, will provide unparalleled luxury, including a private living room, bedroom, and ensuite bathroom.

To further enrich travel experiences, Etihad’s Abu Dhabi Stopover program will allow passengers to explore the vibrant city of Abu Dhabi. Travelers can take advantage of up to two complimentary nights at select premium hotels, giving them the opportunity to experience the rich culture and attractions of the UAE capital before proceeding to their final destinations.

The flight schedule for the Abu Dhabi–Toronto route will include daily services starting on 24 June 2025. Flight EY21 will depart Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) at 02:40, arriving at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) at 09:00 local time. Conversely, Flight EY22 will leave Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) at 13:40, reaching Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) at 11:00 local time the following day. This schedule is tailored to provide convenient connections for both leisure and business travelers.
