The Masaar 2 project in Sharjah has achieved success, selling all 2,000 homes valued at Dh5.6 billion within just three hours of its launch. This rapid sell-out makes it the fastest-selling off-plan project in the UAE.

Customers began arriving at the sales centers of developer Arada as early as 2 AM, eager to secure their investments. By noon, every home had been purchased, demonstrating the high demand for this new development in the region.
Masaar 2 builds upon the success of the original Masaar megaproject located in the Suyoh district of Sharjah. Spanning 10.5 million square feet, Masaar 2 features lush woodlands, nature-inspired architecture, and a range of modern amenities. The project includes contemporary homes that vary from two-bedroom townhouses to five-bedroom villas.
Residents of Masaar 2 can look forward to a swimmable forest lagoon complete with a waterfall, various sports and fitness facilities, a woodland jogging track, an adventure trail, a community mosque, and an outdoor cinema. The project is set to feature approximately 40 000 trees, enhancing its natural appeal.
Construction for Masaar 2 is expected to commence before the end of the year, with the first homes anticipated for completion by the end of 2027. The entire community, along with its amenities, is projected to be fully completed by 2028.
Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal, Executive Vice-Chairman of Arada, noted that the original Masaar has been a transformative community, effectively combining a forested landscape with an urban design. He expressed that the exceptional interest in Masaar 2 reflects not only the strength of the Sharjah market but also the UAE’s attractiveness as a premier investment destination.
Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, remarked that the original Masaar has been one of the UAE’s most successful off-plan projects in recent years. He highlighted that there has been significant pent-up demand for a second Masaar project, leading to today’s record-breaking sales.
