The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that some public bus lines will have to go in different directions for a short time because of construction work going on around Dubai International Airport (DXB). After being made on February 21, these changes will stay in place until further notice.

Buses will not be able to get into the Airport Terminal 1 Arrival area while the work is being done. People who are taking the affected bus lines should look at other ways to get where they need to go to make sure their trip goes smoothly.
Some bus routes are impacted. For example, Route 24 no longer goes to the Airport Terminal 1 Arrival bus stop on its way to Al Nahda station; instead, a temporary bus stop with the number 544501 has been added as an alternative. Also, routes 32C and C01 will no longer go to the Airport Terminal 1 Arrival bus stop on their way to Al Satwa station.
The Airport Terminal 1 Arrival bus stop on Route 33 will no longer go to Al Karama station. However, a temporary stop has been set up at Emirates Metro Station Bus Stop 1 (235001). Finally, Route 77 has canceled both of its stops at Airport Terminal 3. Route N30 has also canceled both of its stops at the Airport Terminal 1 Arrival bus stop. People on Route N30 can use the Airport Terminal 1 External Parking as an extra stop on their way to the International City Bus Station.
The RTA tells people who are traveling to plan their trips ahead of time and give themselves extra time to get there.
