Elon Musk is ready to make a significant impact in the technology sector with the launch of his AI chatbot, Grok 3. The unveiling will feature a live demonstration at 8 p.m. PT (8 a.m. UAE time tomorrow, 18th of February).

Musk founded xAI not only to compete with Microsoft-backed OpenAI and Alphabet’s Google but also to further his vision for advanced AI technologies. Grok has already established itself with multilingual assistance on the X platform, following the successful debut of its predecessor, Grok-2, in August. Grok-2 introduced features like the Aurora image generator and web search capabilities.
Grok 3 is expected to be three times faster than Grok-2, with enhanced accuracy, multilingual support, and superior instruction-following capabilities. This announcement coincides with the recent launch of DeepSeek’s free AI assistant, which quickly surpassed ChatGPT in downloads from the Apple App Store.
The development of Grok 3 has been accelerated by xAI’s Colossus supercomputer, which was built in just eight months. The supercomputer utilizes 100,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs, providing an extraordinary 200 million GPU-hours for training, which is ten times more than what was used for Grok 2. This significant increase in computational power allows Grok 3 to analyze large datasets more quickly and accurately.
xAI has also introduced new training methods for Grok 3, focusing on artificial dataset generation to create diverse training environments while addressing data privacy concerns. Additionally, Grok 3 incorporates built-in self-correction features that enable it to identify and rectify its own mistakes, leading to more precise output results.
The development of Grok 3 is further guided by human feedback systems and contextual learning methods. These systems help improve its accuracy and relevance by incorporating human evaluations of AI-generated content, ensuring continuous enhancement in performance.
With its innovative approaches, Grok 3 is being positioned as a powerful problem-solving tool capable of delivering unique solutions. Early experimental results suggest that Grok 3 may outperform competitors such as ChatGPT from OpenAI and DeepMind Gemini from Google. Musk noted during his interview at The World Governments Summit that Grok’s ability to outperform other AIs could be a temporary phenomenon.
All eyes are focused on Grok 3, which has the potential to revolutionize the chatbot landscape in the artificial intelligence sector, as its launch date approaches.
