According to Khaleej Times, Saeed Al Mansoori, the exhibition’s military and defense shows’ advisor, highlighted the significance of the CBRNE hub, stating, “The new CBRNE hub is the only such dedicated hub to be hosted during a defence exhibition worldwide.” He noted that this sector is crucial and aims to showcase companies specializing in chemical defense, inviting the audience to explore the innovations firsthand.

The CBRNE Hub will serve as a platform for decision-makers, experts, and industry leaders to engage in discussions about advanced solutions for mitigating CBRNE-related threats. Attendees can expect to see the latest technologies for detection, monitoring, and containment, along with expert-led discussions and interactive workshops on emerging challenges and response strategies.

Additionally, the new CBRNE Hub is anticipated to significantly boost IDEX 2025’s revenues. Humaid Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, indicated that this year’s event is projected to exceed the Dh650 million generated for the Abu Dhabi economy during the 2023 edition, driven by a 16 percent increase in participating companies and exhibition size.

Scheduled to take place from February 17 to 21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), this edition of IDEX is gearing up to be the most impactful yet. Major Gen Staff Pilot Faris Al Mazrouei remarked that “this edition has sparked more global interest than ever before,” reflecting the growing significance of the event.

Since its inception in 1993, IDEX has seen substantial growth, with this year’s exhibition featuring 1,565 participating companies, 84 percent of which are international. Al Dhaheri also mentioned that several new local and international defense technologies are expected to be introduced during IDEX and NAVDEX, although the details will remain under wraps until their official launch next week.
