Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has unveiled a new public transport innovation – the Rail Bus. Launched during the World Government Summit, this new vehicle aims to provide a cost-effective and efficient solution for urban mobility.

According to Khaleej Times, the Rail Bus, shaped like a capsule, measures 11.5 meters in length and 2.65 meters in width. It is designed to carry 40 passengers per trip, operating at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour.

This initiative is part of RTA’s efforts to improve traffic flow and offer sustainable transport options across Dubai. The new transport mode reflects the city’s commitment to advancing smart mobility solutions for its residents and visitors.
