flydubai Unveils Advanced Flight Training Centre

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of flydubai, recently toured the airline’s new Flight Training Centre ahead of its official opening in the coming weeks. The state-of-the-art facility, located at the flydubai Campus, features cutting-edge technology, including Boeing 737 Full-Flight Simulators and advanced training rooms.

The 38,000-square-foot centre is designed to provide over 43,000 training hours annually, with six simulator bays currently installed. Two additional simulators are expected to be added by the end of 2026, ensuring greater flexibility in pilot training schedules and meeting growing demand.

During his visit, Sheikh Ahmed emphasized the importance of the facility, describing it as a key part of flydubai’s growth strategy. He noted that it reflects the airline’s commitment to innovation and operational efficiency, while also supporting Dubai’s position as a leading global aviation hub, according to the Government of Dubai Media Office.

The modular design of the building allows for future expansion, and the facility may extend its training services to other airlines in the future, further enhancing its capabilities.
