The project, commissioned by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), will focus on designing, procuring materials, and constructing a facility in the industrial zone of Ruwais. Once completed, the plant will have the capacity to produce 5,000 tons of methanol every day.

Samsung E&A has committed to completing the project within 44 months. The company highlighted that it would use its expertise gained from a similar methanol plant project in Malaysia and its extensive experience from eight previous projects in Ruwais to successfully deliver the facility.

This new partnership underscores ADNOC’s ongoing efforts to expand its industrial capabilities and Samsung E&A’s strong presence in the Middle Eastern market.
