UAE President Hosts Georgian Prime Minister to Discuss Strengthening Ties

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, welcomed Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday during his working visit to the UAE. The meeting took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, where both leaders engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation between the UAE and Georgia.

The dialogue focused on several key areas including investment, trade, agriculture, renewable energy, and sustainability. Additionally, they exchanged perspectives on various regional and global issues, particularly those related to promoting peace, security, and development.

Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the significance of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) that was implemented last year, describing it as a vital advancement in the economic relations between the two nations. Prime Minister Kobakhidze expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and reaffirmed Georgia’s dedication to strengthening its partnership with the UAE to achieve sustainable economic growth.

Both leaders conveyed confidence in the future of UAE-Georgian relations, emphasizing their shared goals for development and mutual prosperity.
