President Sheikh Mohamed has officially announced that 2025 will be designated as the Year of Community in the UAE. In his announcement, he called upon “all those who call the UAE home” to actively participate in efforts aimed at enhancing the community. This initiative is set to encourage collective contributions towards building a stronger society.
In a social media post, Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the importance of collaboration, stating, “Hand in hand we will work to strengthen social bonds, foster shared responsibility, and unlock potential for inclusive and sustainable growth.” He believes that ambitious thoughts paired with decisive actions will help maintain the UAE’s status as an “inspiring model of progress and prosperity.”
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, as well as Ruler of Dubai, praised the declaration of the Year of Community. He noted that this initiative underscores future priorities, including “strengthening social bonds and fostering unity across society.” He articulated that a robust community is essential for creating a brighter future for generations to come, highlighting that the strength of the nation is rooted in the connections and care shared among its people.
