Emirates Health Services to Launch AI Tool for Early Breast Cancer Detection at Arab Health 2025

Emirates Health Services (EHS) is set to unveil an innovative programme designed for the early detection of breast cancer using Artificial Intelligence at the 50th edition of Arab Health. This healthcare event is taking place at Dubai’s World Trade Centre and runs until January 30, 2025. The AI tool, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health and Prevention, aims to complement traditional mammography techniques and significantly enhance early detection rates, thereby improving survival outcomes.

During Arab Health 2025, EHS will showcase a total of 19 innovative projects, with 13 of these being revealed for the first time either regionally or globally. Among the notable projects EHS will introduce are the “Usrati Bundle” and “In-Utero Gene Editing,” which were created in partnership with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. This focus on innovation highlights EHS’s commitment to advancing healthcare technologies and practices.

Arab Health is regarded as one of the largest healthcare exhibitions and conferences not only in the Middle East but also globally. This year’s event is held under the theme “Where the world of healthcare meets,” and is expected to attract over 60,000 visitors and feature more than 3,800 exhibitors from over 80 countries, including representatives from the Middle East, the US, Europe, Africa, and Asia. The UAE will have more than 200 companies participating, showcasing the latest innovations across nine different product sectors, which include medical equipment, devices, imaging, diagnostics, and wellness.

The event will also feature an expanded Arab Health Village, designed to create a relaxed networking atmosphere where attendees can enjoy food and beverages. This area will be accessible throughout the event days and into the evenings, providing a unique space for collaboration and discussion. Arab Health 2025 is supported by several government entities, including the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Government of Dubai, the Dubai Health Authority, the Department of Health, and the Dubai Healthcare City Authority.
