The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) welcomed a high-level delegation from the Republic of Seychelles at its headquarters located in Dubai Design District. This visit supports the strategic partnership between the UAE and Seychelles and aligns with the objectives of the Government Experience Exchange Programme. This program aims to highlight the efforts of UAE government entities on a global stage, reinforcing the nation’s role as a global hub for governance and development while sharing best practices with over 41 participating countries.

As reported by WAM, the delegation included key figures such as Marie-Celine Zialor, the Minister of Youth, Sports, and Family, and Devika Vidot, the Minister of Investment, Entrepreneurship, and Industry. Alongside them were representatives from youth councils, ministries, and various sector experts, who engaged in discussions with senior leaders from Dubai Culture. Together, they explored opportunities to enhance cultural ties, share knowledge and expertise, and develop collaborative cultural exchange programs between Seychelles and Dubai.

During the visit, the Dubai Culture team presented a detailed overview of the Authority’s key achievements and its management of more than 14 strategic projects across Dubai. These initiatives have positioned Dubai at the forefront of global cultural and creative indices, including its ranking in the Foreign Direct Investment Index in Cultural and Creative Industries. This further solidifies Dubai’s leadership as a global center for culture, a nurturing ground for creativity, and a vibrant hub for talent.

The delegation also gained insights into Dubai Culture’s best practices related to community development, entrepreneurship, and the empowerment of youth and creative talent. Additionally, discussions included initiatives aimed at increasing the participation of young people in the Authority’s projects and programs. Such efforts are designed to inspire the next generation to actively contribute to enriching Dubai’s dynamic cultural landscape.
