The third season of Souq Al Freej, organized by Dubai Municipality, ran from December 13, 2024, to January 19, 2025, at Al Warqa 3 Park and Al Barsha Lake Park. This year’s event saw a remarkable turnout, attracting over 282,000 visitors, which represents a 76 percent increase compared to the previous season in 2024.

WAM reported, that the event featured 63 participants, including distinctive home-based businesses and productive families from across the United Arab Emirates. These participants collectively achieved sales totaling AED 2 million, offering a wide variety of products designed to appeal to all family members, . This made the market a vibrant community platform that celebrates local production and entrepreneurship.
Souq Al Freej played a significant role in supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) within Dubai’s economy. By fostering commercial connections between exhibitors and visitors, the event aligns with its mission to encourage support for locally made products.
In addition to the marketplace, the souq hosted 45 food and beverage projects and featured over 185 entertainment events, workshops, and exhibitions. These activities created an integrated family-friendly environment, allowing visitors to enjoy a lively atmosphere while fostering stronger community ties among residents.
