Dubai Police and Majid Al Futtaim Properties Launch Security Initiative for Residential Communities

Dubai Police and Majid Al Futtaim Properties have officially signed the ‘Residential Communities Security Project Charter’ with the goal of enhancing safety in Dubai and establishing it as the world’s safest city. The signing took place on January 16, 2025, at the Dubai Police Officers Club and was attended by key figures including Major General Expert Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansoori from Dubai Police and Ahmed Al Shamy, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Properties.

According to WAM, Major General Al Mansoori talked about the importance of collaboration between law enforcement and real estate developers, stating that these partnerships are crucial for maintaining safety and security at the emirate level. He remarked that such strategic alliances contribute significantly to Dubai’s global reputation as a preferred destination for business leaders and investors.

The charter aims to boost security awareness among workers in residential areas and facilitate the early detection of negative phenomena. It also seeks to incorporate community policing within these neighborhoods. Furthermore, the initiative will promote joint efforts with private sector partners and real estate developers, focusing on developing effective mechanisms to secure homes and create safe residential communities.
