The UAE’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) and Uruguay’s Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Mining have formalized their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation. This agreement was made during the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025, marking a significant step towards enhancing bilateral relations in the energy sector. The memorandum was signed by Nawal Al Hanaee, the Director of the Future Energy Department at MoEI, and Christian Nieves Lauz, the National Energy Director of Uruguay’s Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Mining.
