The service is available for private vehicles with Sharjah license plates that are less than eight years old and have passed a technical inspection within the last 18 months. With the Rafid app, users can use the “Remote Inspection” feature, upload clear photos of their vehicles, and confirm they are accident-free, eliminating the need to visit physical inspection centers.

Colonel Khalid Mohammed Al Kai, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Sharjah Police, highlighted that this initiative aligns with Sharjah’s efforts to enhance service quality and save time for residents.

Ahmed Juma Al Musharrekh, CEO of Rafid Automotive Solutions, stated that the service reflects the company’s commitment to offering innovative solutions, helping improve efficiency in the vehicle sector and making life easier for the community, according to WAM.

This new feature underscores Sharjah’s dedication to adopting advanced technology to provide faster and more convenient services for its residents.
