The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, represented by the Vehicle and Driver Licensing Department, in collaboration with the Public Resources Authority, has launched a new and innovative service for driver testing called “Luxury Vehicle.” This initiative aims to enhance the services of the Traffic and Licensing Center and improve customer satisfaction at the driver testing village.

This service is part of a continuous effort towards smart transformation and service development in licensing. It allows applicants to conduct both the internal driving test and the city test in one appointment, which takes only 15 minutes, using a luxury vehicle. Successful candidates receive their driver’s licenses on the same day, providing a comfortable and exceptional experience that reflects the aspirations of the Ras Al Khaimah Police to offer government services that meet the highest standards.

Colonel Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the Vehicle and Driver Licensing Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that this initiative responds to the directives of the Ministry of Interior aimed at enhancing service systems and achieving institutional excellence within the star classification system. He emphasized that the “VIP” service demonstrates Ras Al Khaimah Police’s commitment to exceeding customer expectations and offers users a flexible and rapid experience.

He further explained that through this service, users can conduct both driving tests (internal and city) simultaneously, eliminating the need for two separate phases as previously required. This change saves time and effort while elevating the quality of service provided.

Lieutenant Adnan Mohammed Ahmed, Acting Head of the Drivers Licensing Branch at Ras Al Khaimah Police, noted that the driving test phases take approximately 15 minutes using a fully equipped vehicle specifically designed for this type of examination.

Additionally, he mentioned that candidates who pass the test successfully receive their driver’s licenses on the same day, without the need to book a new appointment or wait for a later date. This process accelerates procedures and provides high-quality services that align with customer requirements and expectations.

The new service represents a practical step towards developing driver testing mechanisms by employing fully equipped vehicles that enhance the testing environment and deliver an advanced experience for users. He affirmed that integrating the two tests into a single procedure reduces waiting times and enhances the efficiency of processes while maintaining assessment accuracy and output quality.
