The Department of Health of Abu Dhabi has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Boehringer Ingelheim aimed at enhancing scientific research and innovation within the life sciences sector. This partnership will enable researchers and scientists in Abu Dhabi to access Boehringer Ingelheim’s OpnME platform, which is designed to provide essential data and resources for addressing complex biological challenges.

Through this agreement, the OpnME platform will open up opportunities for accelerated scientific discovery. Researchers will benefit from access to advanced compounds, collaborative opportunities, expert networks, and support aimed at nurturing emerging talent in the field.
The platform encompasses four flagship programs: Molecule to Order (M2O), Molecule for Collaboration (M4C), opn2EXPERTS (o2e), and opnTALENTS (o25). These initiatives are expected to significantly contribute to the advancement of life sciences research in the region.
